Palm Springs

Palm Springs is a quirky desert resort city full of mid-century modern architecture, streets named after old Hollywood legends, and striking views of the rugged and beautiful San Jacinto Mountains. The quality of light here is hazy and dream-like, and the windmill farms that lead into the city only add to the strange beauty of the place.

If you have time to explore, top nearby attractions include:

The Living Desert

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Joshua Tree National Park

Moorten Botanical Garden

Palm Springs Art Museum

Elvis & Priscilla Presley Honeymoon Hideaway

Palm Springs Modern Architecture Tours

Palm Springs Windmill Tour

And Los Angeles/Hollywood attractions are about two hours away…

We already have a handful of great memories of time spent in this desert. Patricia remembers going to see the Angels play there when she was kid (back when Palm Springs had spring training and the Angels were known as the California Angels), and Dave celebrated his 32nd birthday with a tram ride to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains and a slice of free raspberry cheesecake. Now, we get to make one more great memory here.
